VidTrans 2016 Includes Major Interop Event
New Orleans, LA, February 1, 2016 - The Video Services Forum is pleased to announce a major
industry interoperability demonstration of the latest technologies for transporting uncompressed video and
audio over IP networks. This Interop event will take place during VidTrans 2016 which will be held at the
Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, LA, February 23 to 25.
VidTrans 2016 will feature multivendor Interop demonstrations of VSF TR-03 with AES67/IEEE1588, VSF
TR-03 with RFC4175, VSF TR-04, ST2022-6 with ST2059 (Video) and ST2022-5/6/7. The demonstration
will include 14 equipment manufacturers, 3 test equipment manufacturers and additional networking
technology suppliers.
This year’s VidTrans conference comprises 2 1/2 days of informative technical sessions on the latest
technologies for high-performance video capture, transport and delivery. Industry experts will present
technical papers on a wide variety of topics related to video networking and IP transport. The conference
includes a Transition to IP Infrastructure panel discussion and multiple papers on current topics such as
High Dynamic Range (HDR), IP Video and AES67 Audio. The current conference program is available

In addition to technical sessions, VidTrans 2016 also showcases some of the latest applications,
technologies and products in its exhibit hall, with an expanded list of exhibitors. The exhibition features an
opening night reception on Tuesday, February 23. The exhibits and the interop will be open Tuesday and
Wednesday, Feb. 23-24.
VidTrans provides an ideal venue for television professionals to see the latest video transport
technologies in person. This low-key conference, attended primarily by industry decision makers, offers a
great opportunity to speak directly with key technology providers and users from around the world.
The VidTrans 2016 Conference will also include a number of social networking events, providing
