Conference Program

The conference program for VidTranS 98 built on the conference theme: "Video Telecommunications in the Era of Digital Television."

Television and telecommunications industry speakers examined the changes that the FCC's DTV mandate is having on various segments of the video transport services marketplace. The conference examined changing industry practices, the resulting demand for new services, and the technologies that will underlie these services.
